Introduction:
The digital representations remind too much of the other media, if infographics usually seem to look like perspectives, the CAD plans are the same as the hand made ones. Each and every media has its own rules. A new media like in our opinion the digital media offer the possibility to rething the clue concepts of culture, architecture, politics and the creativity. Thanks to our preoccupation throw new forms of expression that the new technologies offer and recycling of architectural, not only as ways of expression but also as a theme, form and contents, “The Time Stretching” is born.
Recycling renders, plans and elevations, we alternate the meaning of its representations and we experiment with how the time characterizes them and in the same time how the velocity brings the risk of an accident or errors …And this way we construct new spaces, new textures and new narratives.
The message of “Time Stretching” comes from our preoccupation with the relation of architecture with other arts, it doesn’t come through an argument constructed by discourse, but through a non-conceptual form provoking emotions with images and sounds.

Relation between the masterpiece and the technology:
The distortion of the temporary limit changes the narrative sens of space pathway narration, the sonic limit is opened and stretchable, the time in the image and sound acts like a coil spring.
The visual limit is broken by the magnification of pixels.
The sequencial limit is broken by the time stretching in the pathways of the renders.
The error or mistake against the artificial perfection, the improvisation and within the error integrated in the masterpiece.

Esthetic values:
The project is concived as a colective process, different architects have given synthetic images of their works.
Masterpiece that concerns the perfection of images, spaces and shyntetic sounds.
The time distortion and risk of the mistake as a part of the everiday-life experience .

Size of the masterpiece:
Digital: Synthetic images and sound, video recording and treated sounds .
Concert: Interpretation, live work over the digital base of the images and sound .
Duration: 50 minutes
Installation: The continuous perform of a concert

¿Why do we base our work on artistic concept that uses work of other creators: the arquitects?
To create dialogue spaces and interdisciplinary participation. It is not important to achieve the final objective but to make easier the process of artistic dialogue and gain the social dimension within it.

The concert developement
In the live “Time Stretching” by BH Project , the sound as well as the image are animated, looking for their time limit until distortioning their narrative meaning.
The time gives a new meaning to the image and sound, contrary to the cinema where the narrative flux generally makes us lose sight of them both. The spectator experiences micro sound-visual narrations in a deformed relation between time and space.
The used methodology is a repetition of loops, the magnification of the errors which are found in the audio and video treatment process. Putting the material through the process of time stretching allows to pull back and forth any fragment of audio or video making the material ocupy different time than before usually multiplying itself.
The base images come from the renders and plans of architectonic or industrial representations, mixed elements of nature, including people. The sounds come from the synthesis noises or sampled from different sources and loops of electronic music. All of them are used to redefy new spaces.
The live perfomance is an audiovisual concert, using basic elements of sonorization and projection of images with the original material by BHP. The concert is performed by the members of BH Project.
In order to generate de sound we use a laptops connected to the mixer and other devices or effects units and to get the image, we use a laptop connected to the image projector.
